The northbound lane of Lawrence Avenue will be closed Wednesday while crews repair a fire hydrant just north of the intersection with Harvard Road.
Traffic on Lawrence Avenue will be detoured at the Harvard Road intersection, and the road will be open to through traffic when crews are not present.
The road is expected to be reopened by the end of Wednesday, though further work will be needed to restore the area on later dates, which haven’t yet been decided.
