After a muted year in 2020, the Douglas County Fair will return in full force this July. Yes, there will be a llama show. And a demolition derby.
Attendees can look forward to many annual favorites when events start up, beginning with a few events from July 17 – 20 and kicking into full gear Saturday, July 24 through Sunday, Aug. 1, according to the online schedule.
A couple of fun features include the petting zoo, from 1-10 p.m., and pony rides, 4-10 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, July 28-30. Both will also run from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 31 and Aug. 1. Moore’s Greater Shows Carnival will run from 6-11 p.m. Wednesday, July 28 through Sunday, Aug. 1, and Thursday is family night.
Musical performances scheduled include Rich Johnson and After Midnight, Kenny Gambler Band, Quite Frankley, and Roni Ward Band.
