Lawrence Public Schools will be closed Nov. 22-26 for fall break, which the board approved during a special meeting Nov. 12. The change will allow district employees to “have the approved days off for fall break as well,” according to the meeting agenda.

Board members Kelly Jones and Melissa Johnson did not attend the virtual meeting.

The board generally meets at 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month.
