The Lawrence Farmers’ Market is returning to downtown Lawrence, opening for the season on Saturday, April 9.
“Representing over 60 local businesses, it is THE place to get locally grown and/or produced vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, baked goods, eggs, meats, honey, coffee, wine, flower bouquets, plants, pasta, flour, fermented foods, teas, tinctures, jams, jellies, desserts, lotions, lip balms, candles, and MORE!” according to the market’s Tuesday news release.
The market will be open from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. each Saturday through Nov. 19 at 824 New Hampshire St. There will be ready-to-eat food and coffee, as well as groceries and handcrafted products to take home, according to the release.
Tuesday afternoon markets will also return soon. Those are held from 4 to 6 p.m. each week, starting May 3, on the west side of South Park.
The market has a loyalty card program and weekly scavenger hunts for kids, according to the release.
