Baldwin City

Wyatt Allen Hundley, 71, of Baldwin City passed away September 12, 2022. He was born in Kansas City KS to Rozanne and Richard Hundley. They preceded him in death as did his infant son, Richie. He is survived by his daughter Christi (Tormod), son Tom (Karen), grandchildren Tommy, Kevin, Nathan, Aiden, Uriah, Archer and Thea, his brother Rick, sister-in-law Mae, and nephew Ryan. Wyatt’s family left the Kansas City area in 1963 and moved to Southern California. Wyatt proudly served his country in the Marine Corps after graduating from high school.

In 2010, he rediscovered his childhood sweetheart Lenette and subsequently moved back to Kansas. In that move, he gained the love of her children John, Justin (Jessie) and Thomas as well as grands Del, Savannah, Jaden and Jessalyn. He also reconnected with a number of childhood friends from Junction grade school and made many new friends in the community. He cherished each of you. There won’t be any formal service, but you may make donations to the animal shelter of your choice in honor of Wyatt. A private celebration is being planned. Meanwhile raise a glass in Wyatt’s memory.
