Community members will have the chance to shop from a wide array of vendors this weekend in Lawrence as part of the city’s annual Holiday Extravaganza.
The City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation department is hosting the indoor show with goods for sale from both noncommercial and commercial vendors.
According to the Facebook event page, the show brings “artisans and vendors from all over the state and surrounding states.”
The city is expecting 185 individual vendors, and 200 booth spaces have been sold — some are double spots for people who need extra space for inventory or for friends and family who may be selling different items but want to be near each other, Recreation Programmer Ross Schraeder said via email.
The Holiday Extravaganza is scheduled to be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 at Sports Pavilion Lawrence, 100 Rock Chalk Lane. Entry is free to the public.
