A man who was reported missing Friday has been found safe, according to Lawrence police.

Jamel Dorison Reed, 38, was last seen by his family on Feb. 6, according to a brief social media post from the police department late Friday night.
“Mr. Reed’s family is worried and they say it’s not like him to be unreachable for this amount of time,” the police department’s initial post stated.
Sunday afternoon, LPD posted to social media that “Mr. Reed has been found and is safe. Thank you for all the calls and information.”
Further details were not immediately available Sunday.
