Missing Lawrence man, 79, found safe

Update, 10:36 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 26:

Stephen Earle Glass, 79, of Lawrence, was found safe Sunday morning, according to an update from the Lawrence Police Department.

Original post, 7:32 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25:

Police are asking for the public’s help to locate Stephen Earle Glass, a 79-year-old Lawrence man.

Lawrence Police Department Sgt. Drew Fennelly said via email that Glass left home around 2 p.m. Saturday and has not been heard from since.

“Glass has medical issues that lead the family to believe he is in need of immediate assistance,” Fennelly wrote.

He is believed to be driving a 2017 Toyota Highlander with Kansas license plate 388KHV. Glass is 5-foot-11 and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He is bald and has hazel eyes.

Police ask anyone who sees Glass to please call 911 immediately.
