No injuries in crash on Farmer’s Turnpike, but road closed

No one was injured but the road was closed after a semitrailer crash north of Lawrence Wednesday afternoon.

The 1100 block of North 1800 Road was closed in both directions as firefighters work to put out a vehicle fire, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash involved one vehicle, according to DGSO.
