The Haskell Greenhouse invites community members to view new signage at the Haskell Wetlands during an unveiling event Friday.
The four new signs include information about the land’s ecologies, history and significance. They were designed by Iris Cliff, Assiniboine and Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa.
Courtney King, Peoria and Miami, will lead a tour and there will be an interactive memory-sharing table.
Attendees are encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes and long pants and to bring a bottle of water and bug spray. Refreshments will be provided.
The event will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, July 12 at the fork of the Haskell Wetlands and Medicine Wheel trails.
