The annual two-day Haskell Indian Art Market is coming up Saturday and Sunday.

There will be jewelry, pottery, paintings, sculptures, live performances, food vendors and more.

The market is set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 7 and 8. It will be held at the Haskell Powwow Grounds, 2535 West Perimeter Road on campus.

The market will be held outdoors under tents. As of Thursday night, the National Weather Service in Topeka forecast showed a high of 74° on Saturday and 82° on Sunday, and both days are expected to be sunny and clear.

Pets are not allowed at the event, but service animals are OK.

Later this month, the Welcome Back Powwow is set for Saturday, Sept. 28.

Both events are free to attend and the public is welcome.
