Holiday shopping from around 100 local vendors will be in full swing during the two-day Inclusive Winter Market this weekend in Lawrence.

The Inclusive Winter Market will feature Black and Indigenous creatives and queer creatives, among others who are building their small businesses while living in the margins.

Monique Mercurio, owner of Merc Tribe Designs, and Kassidee Quaranta, owner of KQ Design Co. LLC, are hosting the maker’s market as their first major event since reinventing a Lawrence art collective, previously known as Art Love Collective. Art Love Continued aims to connect creatives and support growth in small businesses.

The Inclusive Winter Market is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22 at the Lied Center, 1600 Stewart Drive.

Vendors will be selling their jewelry, ledger artwork, wellness products, leatherworks, home decor and more. Food and drink vendors will be stationed throughout both days, as well.

San-Dee Claus will be present from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday for free photos, taken by Gaskins Photography Collection.

Visit the Art Love Continued Facebook page, facebook.com/ArtLoveContinued, to see the logos of vendors lined up for the market. For additional information, visit Quaranta’s website, kassideequaranta.com.
