We’ve reached out to more than 130 restaurants in Douglas County. Here are the ones that have confirmed they’ll be open on Christmas.
We’ll update this post as we are able to confirm others.
• 9th Street Cafe at 602 W. Ninth St. will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Aladdin Cafe, 1021 Massachusetts St., will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Boulevard Grill in the DoubleTree by Hilton, 200 McDonald Drive, will be open for breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m.
• Cafe The Mani, 7 E. Seventh St., will be open their normal hours from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m.
• China House at 4821 W. Sixth St. Suite D will be open. Its regular hours on Wednesdays are 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Concept 23 at 1606 W. 23rd St. will be open their regular Wednesday hours, 4 to 9:30 p.m.
• Cosmos Indian Store & Cafe, 3115 W. Sixth St., will be open their normal hours, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• Jade Garden at 1410 Kasold Drive will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• IHOP at 3102 Iowa St. will be open 24 hours.
• Nagoya Japanese Cuisine at 711 W. 23rd St. will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4:30 to 9:30 p.m.
• Oriental Bistro at 1511 W. 23rd St. will be open for their annual Christmas buffet from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended; call 785-841-8881. The full menu will be available for takeout orders only.
• Sohao Buffet at 821 Iowa St. will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Zoe’s Noodle House at 1530 W. Sixth St. will have a Christmas buffet from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
