We asked some folks who were out and about in downtown Lawrence on the first two days of 2025 to share their new year’s resolutions and describe 2024 in one word. Here’s what they had to say.

Resolution: “To be consistent with my habits and goals. Less procrastination, more focus, more discipline — I think I’d be happy with that.”

Resolution: “Nothing specific. Just to continue working toward building a life and a community.”

Resolution: “To be more peaceful.”
