Terrence Patrick Luke Maloney Jr. (known to his loved ones as Pat/Paddy) was born June 28, 1961, to Terry Maloney and Karin (McDonald) Maloney in Wichita, KS and died on December 31, 2024, in Valley Falls, KS, at the age of 63.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Terry and Karin.

Pat is survived by his sister, Kathleen (Maloney) Trevino; brother and sister-in-law Daniel & Valerie (Hartmann) Maloney; Nieces and Nephews, Fiona and Caitlin Trevino, Lillian, Brian, Christian & Sarah (Mesko) and Rosemarian Maloney.

Pat graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School and attended the University of Kansas, as well as, Wichita State University.

Pat was a dedicated Sports Fan and he enjoyed following the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, Dallas Cowboys, KU Basketball and KU Football. Pat enjoyed getting out on the Golf Course, playing a competitive round of Basketball and he was an ace Snow Skier.

Pat loved being a Kansan, through and through and he had a special devotion to his Catholic Faith. Pat had resided at Valley Falls Health Care Center, since 2015, and he praised the care that he received from the dedicated and kind Staff Members at Valley Falls.

Above all, Pat was a gentle and sensitive soul, who dearly loved his family. Pat will be greatly missed by all of us.

Rosary is at 9:30 am with the Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 am on Friday, January 10, 2025, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1321 N. Stratford Ln, Wichita, with Internment immediately following at Calvary Cemetery’s Mausoleum, St. Bartholomew’s Patio, 610 S. Vassar, Wichita.

In Lieu of flowers, donations are kindly asked to be sent in Pat’s memory to Valley Health Care Center at 400 12th Street Valley Falls, KS 66088.
