More than 60,000 books each priced at $2 or less will be for sale at the Lawrence Public Library’s annual summer event.
The Summer Book Sale is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 11-13 at the library, 707 Vermont St. Enter on the Kentucky Street side of the building.
The sale will feature a range of fiction and nonfiction books, a room full of children’s books, and CDs, DVDs and audiobooks, according to the library’s website. Volunteers organize the space.
Credit cards, tap-to-pay and cash are accepted forms of payment, and all proceeds benefit the library.
“By shopping, you’re not just adding to your bookshelf; you’re supporting our local library and the programs and services that make our community shine,” according to the event page.
View the book categories, price lists and more information on the library’s website, lplks.org/book-sales.
