Court will continue but there is no water at the Douglas County Judicial and Law Enforcement Center Thursday following a water line break.

The break occurred on the east side of the building at 111 E. 11th St. early Thursday morning, according to a notice from the county, and the maintenance department needed to shut off water services in the building until the break can be repaired.

As of around 10 a.m. Thursday, there was no estimate for when it would be repaired.

There was no damage to the building, according to the county.

Members of the public and employees can use the facilities at the historic courthouse next door at 1100 Massachusetts St., and a jury trial that is underway is being moved to the County Commission meeting room at the courthouse.

“We appreciate everyone’s patience and flexibility,” the notice stated.
