Families, friends and four-legged furballs flocked to South Park on Sunday for the 44th Annual Kansas State Fiddling and Picking Championships, or FidPick.

Always the fourth Sunday in August, sunny skies with a breeze and temperatures in the 70s made for the nicest weather FidPick has seen in recent memory.

Along with the music and other activities, a “silly hat area” gave folks an opportunity to express their creativity and individuality.
