Two of the Lawrence-area Interstate 70 interchanges will have overnight ramp closures intermittently over the next week for pavement resurfacing.
Closures will be from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17 through Thursday, Sept. 25, weather permitting, according to the Kansas Turnpike Authority.
First up, the ramps at mile marker 204 in North Lawrence will close under the following schedule, as provided by KTA:
• Wednesday, Sept. 17: Westbound entry ramp closed.
• Thursday, Sept. 18: Westbound exit ramp closed.
• Sunday, Sept. 21: Eastbound exit and entry ramps closed; westbound ramps open.
• Monday, Sept. 22: Eastbound exit ramp closed.
The Lawrence interchange ramps at mile marker 202, at McDonald Drive, will be closed on the following schedule:
• Tuesday, Sept. 23: Westbound entry and exit ramps closed.
• Wednesday, Sept. 24: Westbound exit and eastbound entry ramps closed.
• Thursday, Sept. 25: Eastbound exit and entry ramps closed.
