The City of Lawrence is asking residents for feedback on its website’s navigation, design and accessibility features ahead of a site redesign.
Residents can inform the redesign by filling out a 10-question online survey with questions about user demographics, why they use the website and whether information is easy to find.
“The City website connects departments with community members who rely on it for essential information and services — from trash pickup to recreation hours and so much more,” according to a city news release. “We want to know how people use the website and what features they do or don’t like so our redesign results in a website that better serves our community.”
The survey is open now until 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27. The city’s website address is lawrenceks.gov.
They anticipate that the new website will be up and running by April 2026.
