The local hospitality industry is gearing up a slew of special menu items for this year’s Lawrence Restaurant Week, a 10-day culinary affair.

The 12th annual restaurant week will run from Thursday, Jan. 15 through Sunday, Jan. 25. There will be dining options with different price points, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free offerings at many of the establishments, according to a news release from the Lawrence Restaurant Association.

“For the last 12 years this event has been a lifeline to hospitality businesses (and diners!) in the dead of winter,” the release reads. “The much-anticipated annual event is a dynamic celebration of our local food scene, and last year over 55 local hospitality establishments participated.”

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Hospitality Workers Relief Fund, initially established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to provide financial aid and services to local hospitality workers.
