Douglas County Extension Master Gardeners have asked, “What’s the big idea?” They’ll be ready with answers at their upcoming garden show.
The Big Idea Garden Show will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 21 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2010 Harper St.
Attendees can bounce from food trucks to expert speakers to local vendors to garden art and garden garage sales. Folks can also buy raffle tickets for $1, making them eligible for around 50 different garden-related prizes from area businesses and supporters.
Extension Master Gardener groups will host educational booths on sustainable and edible gardening, native plants, a fairgrounds demonstration garden and more.
