Lawrence Public Library community survey to close soon

The Lawrence Public Library wants to remind community members — patrons or not — that its survey to help shape the future of the institution’s building and offerings will close soon.

The library is in the middle of devising its first master plan in two decades. Library leadership has hired New York City-based Margaret Sullivan Studio as the consulting firm for the project. The community survey is one step in the process.

“This is your moment to help reimagine what the Library can be, whether it’s shaping how our spaces are designed, dreaming up new services, or deciding how we show up for our city now and in the years ahead,” according to a library newsletter. “It only takes about 10 minutes, and it’s a meaningful way to make your voice heard.”

The survey will close this weekend, per the email. Folks can take the online survey here or print a paper version here to submit to a librarian at the building at 707 Vermont St.

People who fill out the survey have a chance to win a $50 downtown Lawrence gift card.
