Haus of McCoy, the new community hub for queer and trans youth in Lawrence, opened its colorful rooms to the public Wednesday in a celebratory grand opening.

The center’s goal is to help young queer and trans people — especially young People of Color — survive and thrive.

Visitors wandered in and out Wednesday afternoon to explore the center, 1046 New Hampshire St. Get a glimpse of some of the spaces and faces of Haus of McCoy in this gallery.
