Aircraft will be flying low over Lawrence for KU homecoming

A flyover is planned for KU football’s homecoming game Saturday, with a practice run on Friday.

Four F-16 aircraft will fly over Lawrence, first around 2:30 p.m. Friday for practice, and then about 10 minutes before the 3 p.m. kickoff on Saturday (Oct. 16).

The aircraft are from the 149th Fighter Wing out of San Antonio, Texas, and two F-16s will be piloted by KU graduates, according to a news release from KU.
