Workshop to help high schoolers navigate financial aid process

A workshop coming soon to Lawrence High School will help students and families learn the basics of financial aid.

The workshop is aimed to help students and their parents get ready to navigate secondary education, and it is hosted in partnership with the Lawrence KS Juneteenth Organization.

The event is open to all area high school juniors and seniors and their parents or guardians. It’s set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 in the Learning Commons at Lawrence High School, 1901 Louisiana St.

Dinner will be provided. Attendees are asked to RSVP before Tuesday, Jan. 17 at this link.
