Lawrence police are asking for the public’s help to find a man who was last seen almost two weeks ago, according to a brief social media post from the department late Friday.
Jamel Dorison Reed, 38, is 5-foot-11, pictured above. A more tightly cropped version of the image is below.
“Mr. Reed’s family is worried and they say it’s not like him to be unreachable for this amount of time,” according to the police department’s post, which says the family has not seen Reed since Feb. 6.
“Our investigators are tracing his last known whereabouts, but are asking for the public’s assistance,” the post continued. “If you’ve seen Mr. Reed, please call Lawrence Kansas Police.”
The nonemergency dispatch number for LPD is 785-843-0250. No additional information about Reed or this situation was available just after midnight Saturday.
