Downtown Lawrence Inc. is making big changes to its traditional annual sidewalk sale. The new Mid Summer Night on Mass will move the fun to the evening hours on June 23.
“The event will feature sidewalk style sales from local retailers and restaurants and include special entertainment on the side streets,” according to a news release from DLI.
Businesses can start their sales and promotions anytime during the day, but featured events will occur from 4 to 10 p.m. on Friday, June 23.
There will be retail sales and restaurant specials, live music and entertainment with “expanded street areas,” according to the release.
“DLI invites the entire community to enjoy this exciting celebration of shopping, dining, and entertainment,” the release stated.
There’s a new website for the event: msnonmass.com. It’ll include details and businesses’ individual promotions, as well as a list of event sponsors.
