The Lawrence school district will have no school Tuesday because of winter storm conditions.
The district also canceled all its after school and evening activities for Monday because of the weather conditions.
The Lawrence Public Library closed at 5 p.m. Monday and also will be closed Tuesday. The digital library is open 24/7. Visit lplks.org/digital-library.

Other closures, changes, cancelations, etc.:
• All City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation programs are canceled Monday and until 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9. See the department’s Rainout Line website for activity-specific details. Recreational facilities will delay opening until 10 a.m. Tuesday, except for the Community Building, which will open at 8 a.m. as usual.
• The Eudora school district has canceled school Tuesday.
• The Baldwin City school district has canceled school Tuesday.
• The University of Kansas’ Lawrence, Edwards and Leavenworth campuses will be closed Tuesday.
• Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health’s office and clinic will be closed Tuesday.
• Lawrence’s Multimodal Transportation Commission and Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meetings for Monday are canceled.
• Heartland Community Health Center, Panda Pediatrics and River City Pharmacy will be closed Tuesday.
• The Kansas Judicial Center in Topeka is closing at 4 p.m. Monday and will be closed Tuesday.
• The Ballard Center’s mobile food pantry at the Douglas County Fairgrounds is canceled Tuesday.
• The Willow Domestic Violence Center’s administrative offices will be closed Tuesday but the 24/7 hotline is available, 785-843-3333.

City of Lawrence snow info:
• The city has snow information and a map at lawrenceks.org/snow that shows information about road conditions and snow plow locations. The city typically begins snow and ice control for residential roadways when 2 or more inches of snowfall or icing occurs.
