The Lawrence City Band played for a sea of people seated all over the east side of South Park Wednesday evening for a show with the theme of “Journeys.” Tom Harper, of Lawrence, submitted this photo to the Times.
As the Times has reported, the band returned last week after a yearlong hiatus amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The theme of next week’s show is “Showtime!” Shows begin at 8 p.m. on Wednesdays at South Park, or in the event of inclement weather, at the Lied Center, 1600 Stewart Drive.
