Here are Lawrence-area restaurants that will be open on Thanksgiving

We’ve reached out to more than 120 restaurants in Douglas County. 

Here are the ones that have confirmed that they’ll be open Thanksgiving day. 

Post last updated at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26:

• Aladdin Cafe, 1021 Massachusetts St., will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Cosmos Indian Store & Cafe, 3115 W. Sixth St., will be open their normal hours, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. They are accepting special holiday orders and offering a 10% discount on bulk orders. Orders can be placed on their website or emailed to cosmoslawrence@gmail.com.

• Zoe’s Noodle House at 1530 W. Sixth St. will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• Cascada la Golondrina, 1800 E. 23rd St., will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• China House at 4821 W. Sixth St. Suite D will be open. Its regular hours on Thursdays are 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• Moriki Sushi at 1800 E. 23rd St. will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• Perkins at 1711 W. 23rd St. will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Jade Garden at 1410 Kasold Drive will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

• IHOP at 3102 Iowa St. will be open until 6 p.m.

• Sohao Buffet at 821 Iowa St. will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Sandwich Bowl at 4821 W. Sixth St. Suite K will open at 5:30 p.m. for a free community dinner. Meals are served to go and first-come, first-served. They’ll be there until they run out.
