Community members from Lawrence and beyond packed the Douglas County Fairgrounds on Saturday for the Holiday Farmers Market.
Shoppers perused food, arts and crafts, body care products and more, all produced within a 50-mile radius of Lawrence.
“This is the opportunity for our vendors to show their creative side,” Emily Lysen, director of development for the market, said ahead of the big day.
The market was set to continue through 4 p.m. Saturday in the open pavilion.
