Assistant Lawrence City Manager Diane Stoddard is leaving her position effective Jan. 13, according to a city news release Wednesday afternoon.

Tom Fagan, who served as interim chief of Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical starting in December 2021, has been selected as chief of the Marion, Iowa Fire Department, the city announced Friday.
The city has announced that Richard Llewellyn, an outside hire from the Everett Fire Department in Washington, will be the new chief of Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical.

Following a national search, the city has selected Melissa Sieben as the new director of Municipal Services and Operations, according to a news release Tuesday.
