The Lawrence-Douglas County Sustainability Office wants to hear from local residents about how to address and protect the community from potential climate change risks. In addition, the Lawrence City Commission will receive an update on the Climate Action Plan on Tuesday.
Douglas County commissioners heard an update Wednesday on local plans to address climate change. They commended the plan’s direction so far, as well as how it takes equity into account.
The Douglas County Climate Action Plan Community Engagement Survey is now available online.
