Gov. Laura Kelly and the Dillons grocery store chain Tuesday launched a new COVID-19 vaccination incentive program in a dozen Kansas counties, delivering $50 per dose or a total of $100 for individuals 12 years or older who volunteer to accept shots.
The University of Kansas is not mandating that students get COVID-19 vaccines to attend classes this fall, but it has just sweetened the pot for those who do.

Gov. Laura Kelly on Friday reaffirmed the state’s commitment to convincing the unvaccinated half of the state’s population to get a life-saving shot. Only 51.4% of eligible Kansans are fully vaccinated from COVID-19.
