The Festival of Trees has a new location and new nightlife events this year, and its staple — a display of donated trees, wreaths and more with unique designs and themes — is ready for viewing hours, beginning Friday.
Locals flocked to Liberty Hall on Monday to enjoy cookies, have their photos taken with Santa and admire the myriad of trees and wreaths that are part of the annual Festival of Trees.
People from various local groups, organizations and businesses were hard at work Sunday afternoon to get their holiday creations ready for the public to view at the Festival of Trees.
Kids are welcome to visit Santa, get their photos taken and enjoy a cookie Monday and Tuesday afternoons this week at Liberty Hall.
The Festival of Trees in 2021 reopened to the public for the first time since 2019 and raised more than $80,000 for the O’Connell Children’s Shelter.
