Douglas County District Court Judge Sally Pokorny ruled Monday that a 17-year-old accused of shooting and killing a 14-year-old Lawrence boy will be tried as an adult.
A judge ruled today that the next court hearing for the alleged shooter in the emotional case of a 14-year-old Lawrence boy’s death will be livestreamed on YouTube, but the courtroom will be closed to the public. Also, more charges have been filed in connection with the shooting.
