Lawrence writer, Baldwin City poet win 2024 Langston Hughes Creative Writing awards
Fiction writer Kimberlee Bethany Bonura and poet Darwin Michener-Rutledge have been named the 2024 Langston Hughes Creative Writing Award recipients.

Langston Hughes Creative Writing Award to accept submissions through Dec. 24
Local writers are encouraged to submit their work to an annual creative writing contest in honor of Langston Hughes. The submission deadline has been extended to offset a website error.
