The Sundance Film Festival will hold screenings at Lawrence’s Liberty Hall in January as one of seven satellite sites nationwide, the festival announced Monday.
Children’s imaginations will come to this weekend during Over, Under, All Around, the Lawrence Arts Center’s newest interactive performance experience from the Theatre and Dance for the Very Young program. Six performances are scheduled at the Ballard Center playground in Lawrence.
The Lawrence Arts Center will require full vaccination for all staff, faculty and contractors, adult program participants and audience members ages 12 and up, according to an announcement from the CEO Monday evening.
Lawrence will have the distinct honor of launching the first traveling exhibition for “Ghosts of Segregation,” a photo series by Richard Frishman, this September at the Lawrence Arts Center. The local community can still help Frishman choose sites to be included.
