Lawrence, KS

Donald Matthew Baise was born to the union of Carl and Violet Baise of Eudora, KS.

Don, as he preferred to be called, received his education in the Lawrence School District, where he received his high school diploma.

Don was a master landscaper. He fine tuned this skill thru his longtime employment with Parker’s Landscaping. He enjoyed watching football (Go Chiefs!!), and putting smiles on everyone’s face, and spending time with his children and grandchildren while listening to his favorite artist, George Clinton and Parliament.

Donald M. Baise transitioned from labor to reward on Wednesday June 9, 2021@ 2:36pm surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his mom, Violet Baise, and his sister Carla Baise.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his Dad Carl Baise (Eudora,KS); his wife Catina Franklin-Baise (Lawrence,KS); his daughters Michaela (Tyler) Baise, Cecilia Baise and Daphne Baise (all of Eudora, KS); his son Matthew Baise (Topeka, KS); his brother Russell Baise and sister Mary Baise (both of Eudora, KS); and his long time brother and friend Jose Regalado (Eudora, KS). And a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and close friends.

A private memorial service will be planned by family at a later date.
