Note from the Times: This bestseller list comes to us straight from The Raven Book Store in Lawrence. See other editions of the list here.

Last week I was feeling proud and inspired that four of our weekly bestsellers were local titles. Well, this week features SEVEN local titles, including two from Sarah Henning!

This is one of my favorite parts of independent bookstores: that each store’s bestseller list looks different because local readers love local authors. In an increasingly homogenizing American landscape, it’s fun to see these pockets of local uniqueness.

Keep reading, Kansas, and keep reading Kansas.
