A view of Lawrence: Storm clouds roll into town

Strong thunderstorms rolled into Lawrence quickly Tuesday morning.

Douglas County Emergency Management tweeted that gusty winds of up to 50 mph were expected, and the National Weather Service in Topeka tweeted that frequent lightning would be possible through 10 a.m. Tuesday for Lawrence, Ottawa and Eudora.
