Rep. Jake LaTurner, whose district includes the Lawrence/Douglas County area, will hold a town hall this week at the Lawrence Public Library.

The event is set for 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7 in the library’s auditorium, 707 Vermont St.
LaTurner is a Republican in his first term representing Kansas’ second district in Congress.
Masks are required inside the library.
