Portion of Naismith Valley Park Trail to close for about 6 months

The portion of Naismith Valley Park Trail south of 27th Street will be closed starting Monday, Oct. 25, to accommodate construction work for a sanitary sewer replacement project.

Access points along the trail will be marked with signage, and pedestrian detours will be in place, according to a news release from the city. The specific access points include 27th Street, Missouri Street and Ousdahl Road.

The work is expected to be completed by May 2022, according to the release.
