Much of the project will span East 19th from Harper Street to O’Connell Road, according to a city news release.

“The project will include improvements to pavement, storm sewer, sidewalks and a shared-use path,” the release said.

The project will also add sidewalk and accessible ramps on the south side of East 19th Street between Haskell Avenue and Harper Street, the release said.

There will be various road closures and detours in place for the duration of the five-phase project, as well as temporary traffic restrictions.

Residents in the project area will be notified at least 48 hours in advance of any access restrictions to their property, according to the release.
