The women’s team secured a spot in the tournament with a second-place conference finish.

Senior Tiana Guillory says the team is excited for the opportunity to play. “We are grateful, we have a great coach, and we worked really hard for this.”

First-year head coach Adam Strom, who scheduled the team’s first ever NCAA Division I opponent when they played UMKC, says his team is ready to go.

“We can play fast break and if we need to do that in this game we can,” he said.

The team will play their first game at noon (CST) Friday, March 11. See a schedule for the opening round at this link.

This is the third time the women’s team has qualified for NAIA Nationals. When the school was a junior college, the team placed third in the NJCAA 1999 tournament.
