Two downtown parking lots to close Monday for restriping

Update, 11:08 a.m. Thursday, March 24:

The city announced in a tweet Thursday morning that this project will occur on Monday, March 28, rather than Friday, March 25. It is still expected to last one day.

Two parking lots in downtown Lawrence will be closed Friday to be restriped, according to a city news release.

Lot 4 is on New Hampshire Street between Eighth and Ninth streets, and Lot 9 is on the northwest corner of 10th and Vermont streets. They’re indicated on the map above.

The lots will reopen by the end of the day Friday, according to the city, and all other downtown parking lots will be open.
