Mass Street shoppers, visitors and regulars were beginning to take advantage of the wide open street closed to vehicle traffic Saturday morning ahead of KU’s Final Four game against Villanova.

The festivities of Mass Street Madness were set to continue through 3 p.m.; tipoff is at 5:09 p.m.

Several downtown businesses plan to host watch parties. The doors of Allen Fieldhouse, too, were set to open at 4 p.m. for a free watch party, and concessions will be available, according to KU.
