Juana Summers, a journalist who has covered national politics for more than a decade, will share her insight and speak on her experience Tuesday at the Dole Institute of Politics.
Summers is a co-host of NPR’s “All Things Considered,” along with Ailsa Chang, Ari Shapiro and Mary Louise Kelly. She joined the show in June 2022. Prior to that, she was NPR’s national political correspondent.
Her work has included coverage of Congress and the last three presidential elections, as well as race, justice, and other aspects of American politics, according to a news release from NPR and the Dole.
For the first 45 minutes of the event, Audrey Coleman, executive director of the Dole, will interview Summers. Summers will then take questions from attendees as time allows.
The event is free and open to the public from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21 at the Dole Institute of Politics, 2350 Petefish Drive, but space is limited. The talk will also be livestreamed on the Dole Institute’s YouTube page at this link.
