Note from the Times: This bestseller list comes to us straight from The Raven Book Store in Lawrence. See other editions of the list here.

This last Saturday was Independent Bookstore Day, and we must say we’re so thankful for the support our community showed us. We had one of our best days ever, and the store was bustling with book lovers from open to close. We really felt the love, and it reminded us why we’re so grateful to be able to do what we do.

Speaking of doing cool things, a series of all-star events is driving our bestseller list this week, with event books landing at the 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 10 spots. Among those event books are three by the magnificent Ross Gay, the first person to ever place three titles at once on our list. If you haven’t had the joy of reading Ross, now is the perfect time to start.
